Who is this Big Girl

It was a big day in our house yesterday.  I feel like we just did this with Emmy.  Somehow, my tiny little Charlie Bear is getting older.  In fact she's getting so big that this is happening now...

That is my sweet little girl, sitting at the table with us just like a big girl!

We made the switch from highchair to booster as Charlie had been taking it upon herself to scream through every meal time.  Not exactly pleasant.  The same thing happened when Emmy was a little older, and when we switched her to the booster, it all stopped.  So we decided to try and see.

Wouldn't you know that my second, the one who seems to want to do everything just a little bit before Emmy did, is all ready to join us at the big table.

I won't lie, I really didn't like having the high chair out all the time.  It's big, bulky, and no matter what kind you get, always an eye sore.  I'd much rather have the booster seat clipped onto one of our chairs.

But it is a little said to say goodbye to one more piece of baby-ness in this house. :( Only toddlers and preschoolers around here!

We have been having the same issue/fight over the past couple of dinners and not breakfasts (I'm not there for lunches). I wonder if her booster would also make a positive change? They do grow so so fast!

We just started having this fight too. Sometimes I wonder if N is just getting uncomfortable in the high chair. What type of booster do you use?

Aw. I remember when we switched to a booster for my daughter. It seemed to work out much better.

I'm with you on the high chair eye sore factor haha! We have a booster and an old wooden high chair that we pushed up to the table. The only reason I'm keeping that around is bc hubby re-finished it (it was his as a baby too) and it's nice :) My SIL is giving us another booster, so we'll see what happens with the high chair.

She is one gorgeous baby girl. So glad the 'singing' has stopped. That's never fun.
