Thank You...

Today is the inaugural National Thank a Police Officer Day.  It was started by a group called the Whole Truth Project, which is dedicated to getting a pro-police message out there.  It's funny how people hate the cops when they get in trouble for doing something wrong, but love them when they are in trouble.

Our men in blue have a very dangerous, very difficult job...one that they do selflessly.  They work holidays, miss time with their families, and are on duty for a ridiculously long time.  They are here to protect us and bring the criminals to justice.  Every day they strap on that bullet proof vest and pray they are not injured or worse. 

There needs to be more support for police these days and the difficult job they do.  So let's start with a simple "Thank You!" to them today!!
