Show & Tell Monday

I am participating with the *fabulous* Becky today for her Show & Tell Monday link-up series!I think this is going to be such a fun series, and I can't wait to find some new blogs.  Today's topic is all about houses!

If you were searching for a home now, tell me what would be on your "MUST" list.
1. A finished basement.  The ceilings in ours are too low so we can't finish it, and I think the extra space is a must.
2. Definitely four bedrooms.  We have three now, which is perfect for us, but we really need a separate guest room/office.
3. A built-in stone hot tub.  As much as I love the idea of a pool, that is so much work, and such a safety hazard.  A hot tub would be just perfect!
4. At least two full baths.  We only have 1 1/2 baths right now, but with TWO sweet little girls that are going to grow into squealing teenagers one day, a second shower is a must.
5. An eat-in kitchen.  I love my kitchen these days, it's pretty large and finally looks just how I want it.  But it's a little separate form the rest of the house, and no table can fit, so no one ever hangs out in there!


Show me your favorite room in a home {either your home, or any home, i.e. kitchen}.

This is my absolute dream kitchen.  I love everything about it!

Definitely the girls playroom.  I would love tons of built-ins there to streamline everything and make it more accessible and kid friendly.


Tell me where your favorite stores are to shop for home decor.
Target and Marshals/TJ Maxx are normally my go-to places.  I find a lot at Kmart as well.

As much as I do love my house, I  desperately want to live in something with a front porch!
